Monster World[]
Monster World is a turn-based strategy game released on Dec 16, 2018 with deckbuilding and rogue-like mechanics created using Scratch by user Apfellord.
The game takes place on the planet Taranga. You set out as an adventurer to face an unknown destiny in a world full of monsters, magic and mystery.
Monster World's mechanics are heavily inspired by MegaCrit's rogue-like card game, Slay The Spire.
Versions[]
The game is currently in its Preview version, with an April Fools version out adding a new character and boss, and changing all enemies into Stony-versions of themselves. Apfellord confirmed on the ScratchRunning Podcast that the game is a preview for Taranga, which will include significantly more content and another new playable character.
